I've been to a lot of worship services in thirty years of ministry. Nothing prepared me for this one.
Tonight I'm taking you to Cuba. A country where standing up during worship was against the rules. We landed at an airport with machine guns at every gate. Where thirty people crammed into a stone house and sang Amazing Grace like the walls couldn't hold it.
Not because it was a special occasion. Because they finally had a few hours where they could.
That night changed something in me that thirty years of ministry hadn't touched. And tonight I want to tell you what happened in that room and what it means for the way you walk through a church door on Sunday morning.
