I’m Bryan Cox —  a pastor in the Upstate of South Carolina. I am also a husband to an amazing wife, and a father to two beautiful girls. I have had the privilege of being a teacher and communicator for over 27 years. I’ve preached many sermons, trained leaders, and seen firsthand the power of words to inspire, heal, and transform lives.

I know the challenges that come with communication — the late nights preparing sermons, the search for the right illustration, the desire to connect deeply with people’s hearts while staying true to the message.

That’s why I created the Speak on Purpose Podcast — a resource for pastors, teachers, and communicators who want to sharpen their gift, speak with clarity, and deliver messages that truly make an impact.

Since 1998, I’ve served as a pastor in various roles, from worship Pastor, Executive Pastor, to senior Pastor in the fastest-growing churches in the United States. I don’t pretend to be the world’s greatest preacher, but I’m on a mission to help pastors like myself to deliver inspiring sermons. I’ve learned a lot over the years, and this podcast and website is where I share what I’m learning with the hope that it helps other preachers like me.

Currently, I’m serving as the Associate Pastor at Second Chance Church in Anderson SC. And I work on Speak On Purpose in my spare time.

On Speak on Purpose, you’ll find practical tips, biblical insights, and proven strategies that I’ve learned through years of ministry and study. Whether you’re preaching from the pulpit, teaching in a classroom, or leading a small group, my goal is simple: help you speak with confidence, connect with your audience, and communicate in a way that moves people closer to God.

This isn’t just about speaking well. It’s about speaking on purpose.
